The Physical Infrastructure Team is responsible for the design, installation and operation of the USU wiring infrastructure that supports networking, phones and cable TV operations.  This team was instrumental in the design of the USU data center, that is a model in efficient cooling and operation using chilled water from the central cooling plant.  They also install equipment including backup power systems to support the network.

They consult with departments on the design and installation of camera security systems that are all tied to a central location for monitoring by security/police and also for archive recording.
